After consulting a number of allergists, general practitioners, internists, and nutritionists during the years of 2007 to 2010, I was either told there was nothing wrong with me or given ineffective treatments for my symptoms of chronic fatigue, upper respiratory infections, and hair loss. Despite the extensive medical knowledge of these medical practitioners, I was still sleeping 9-10 hrs a night and always tired. I still caught every cold and flu of the season and always felt sick even when I wasn’t coughing or blowing my nose. And I still had a large patch of hair missing from the back of my head.

Frustrated and completely without hope, I was referred to Dr. Waller by a family friend. After the first visit, I was diagnosed with hyper-permeable intestinal disorder (Leaky Gut). The diagnosis seemed right, but I was certainly skeptical at the time given my past history with other doctors. I was hopeful, however, because Dr. Waller’s diagnosis was backed up by extensive blood testing and her treatment included a novel concept – treating the cause of the illness instead of my symptoms. It also included a radical lifestyle change that included abstaining from all dairy, wheat, corn, rice, and other foods to which I had developed an allergic reaction. Large quantities of costly supplements and IV infusions were also part of my treatment plan, but the most important ingredient of my treatment was patience. Dr. Waller did not promise that I would get well in a week or a month or even 6 months, but she did say that any results would be the product of my commitment to following her treatment plan.

After three months I saw little results, but was encouraged by Dr. Waller and her staff to stay the course. After six months, I saw more results but still had debilitating bouts of fatigue and sickness. After a year, however, I noticed that I hadn’t missed a day of work due to illness the entire winter. I also noticed that I was sleeping 7 hrs a night and feeling spry during the day. It had taken over a year of assiduously adhering to Dr. Waller’s treatment plan. It was difficult, but I never once deviated from her plan.

Today I enjoy a priceless level of health and vitality that I’ve never known before and didn’t ever think possible.

A little over 3 months ago, I had my first appointment with Dr. Waller. Tests were arranged and there were times I thought the whole process was too complicated. I doubted that the results would justify the discomfort with the entire process, and when I had to drink that yellow protein powder, I was ready to give up. Fortunately, as long as I see the possibilities, I usually stick with a project that I’ve set for myself. In this case, the rewards far exceeded my expectations!

Before I came to see Dr. Waller, I was l losing ground on my ability to get my jobs done. I was reconciling myself to what seemed like a fact; that as we get older we are less effective and less able to generate the kind of energy we had when we were younger. When I started this program, I was going to the fitness center 2-3 times each week for an hour of weight training. The weather hadn’t turned cold yet so I was still walking my dog up to 3 times each day, but truthfully, it had fallen to 1 time a day at about the time I saw you. I was using my mental energy to push my body through a day and get things done, but I was definitely losing ground.

Now just 3 months later, I am doing weight training for 1 hour 3 times each week, Zumba dancing 1 hour 2 times each week, and yoga and/or flexibility exercises 1 hour 2 times each week. I’m still playing with my dogs, but I’m up earlier and I’m rested. I’m sleeping at night! My mind is clearer and I’m making a lot of progress with the nonprofit organization I’m the president of.

I just turned 70 on January 1st and I feel the next 10 years are going to be the best yet!

My husband goes to her now, too. I admire that she doesn’t give either one of us solutions that are going to cause us more problems. She’s allowed me to enjoy my life, because I’m not so wound up anymore. I can relax and breathe.

When I found Dr. Waller, she listened and suggested an iodine replacement. That was never an option presented to me by these endocrinologists. Within three months, I had lost some of the weight and had no symptoms. It blew me away, because for all those years, I felt like I was constantly overmedicated. She also determined that my digestive problems were caused by a magnesium deficiency.

I’m an advocate of hers. She’s really easy to talk to, and the money is well worth it.

I had soreness when I exercised. I was desperate to lose weight and I was living on B12 shots. I’d been to other doctors, but nothing was helping and I was starting to think it was in my own head.

Dr. Waller took about 20 vials of blood and also tested my urine and saliva. It took me a while to believe she could find something new that would actually help me. She looked at everything and fit the pieces together like a puzzle.

She first determined that I had a hormone imbalance and that my thyroid was out of whack. She’s also determined that I suffer from adrenal fatigue and leaky gut. She prescribed testosterone plus progesterone, six IV treatments and supplements. After one treatment, I was amazed at how much better I felt. After six weeks, I was a new person.

We are still working on some things, but I feel she’s fixed what was the main problem. If you would have told me a year ago, I’d feel this good, I’d say you were crazy!

Mary Ellen Cameron Scott, 57, of Rochester Hills. Mother of two, grandmother of one.

I was diagnosed with Hashimoto’s Disease, a thyroid disorder, and had struggled with memory loss and with my weight for years. I hadn’t slept through the night in about 15 years. I give presentations in front of people and I was getting so forgetful, I worried I wasn’t going to be able to work anymore.

Once, I had driven about a mile away from my house and I didn’t know where I was or where I was going. That’s what made me decide to go see Dr. Waller.

She gave me hormone supplements and within a week, I was feeling better. It’s really amazing how my health has turned around, especially my memory. I also had the beginnings of osteoporosis and in a year, I have reversed that with vitamin and mineral supplements. My cholesterol and blood pressure have now dropped to safe levels and my homocysteine level has been cut in half, reducing my heart attack risk.

When I think of the expense, I think that I wouldn’t be able to do my job if I hadn’t met Dr. Waller. So, it’s worth it. My goal is to be healthy until I die and I plan to live well into my 80′s!
